If you have a dog, you need a good vacuum cleaner!

It never fails to amaze me how much dog hair I pick up, and I vacuum at least weekly. Based on the amount of hair I pick up, you would think my dog should be bald, but he always seems to have plenty more to contribute to my floor. Even when I clean two or three times a week, piles upon piles accumulate, from where no one knows.

If you own a dog, you know very well why we refer to them as our, “furry friends.” We love them, but they leave hair everywhere.

Out of all the upgrades in my house, one of the best investments I’ve ever made is purchasing a good quality vacuum. I have a small house, and I never thought I would have a need for what is basically an industrial strength vacuum, but the difference between a cheap unit and a more expensive one is like night and day. I’m the thriftiest person I know, and I like to save money whenever I can, but there are some things you need to spend money on.

A good vacuum is definitely one of them.

If you can afford to spend a little extra for a more expensive model, do it. You will be amazed at the difference it makes, especially if it’s a model designed for picking up dog hair. I’m not trying to be a vacuum cleaner salesman here, but it’s the little things in life that impress me. Your floor will be cleaner, your furniture and clothes will be cleaner, and your house will even smell better.

Spend the money.

You will NOT be disappointed!
